"God Says You're Headed in the Right Direction, Even If It Feels Backward!"

Many of you have outgrown the places where you once were. What once felt comfortable and fitting has become too small for who God is calling you to become.
leaving the old season behind is not a sign of failure but of growth! God has called many of you to leave the familiar behind and step into the new, but leaving has been daunting and has required navigating many challenges.

"God Says You're Headed in the Right Direction, Even If It Feels Backward!"
In a dream I had in the early hours of (Jan 17th, 2025), I found myself in a garage that was too small for my car. I needed to reverse out of the garage, but I knew it would be challenging. As I began to back up, I realized the garage door wasn't fully open, so I had to wait for it to open completely before proceeding.
Looking in the rearview mirror, I saw a long, winding driveway behind me, with many cars parked along the way. Some of these cars were blocking my path, and I knew I would have to navigate around them carefully. It seemed almost impossible, but my dad was sitting in the car with me, calm and unconcerned with the obstacles I faced. His confidence gave me peace as I reversed through the tight spaces; I was amazed as I managed to back up the entire driveway without hitting anything; it didn't make sense; I knew it had to be supernatural; my car shouldn't have been able to make it through some of the cars blocking my way.
We made it to the beautiful country road stretching to the horizon. But before we could move onto the country road, my dad asked me to stop. He got out of the car to close the gate at the end of the driveway and then jumped back in, ready to go!
At that moment, I woke up from the dream.

Many of you have outgrown the places where you once were. What once felt comfortable and fitting has become too small for who God is calling you to become.
leaving the old season behind is not a sign of failure but of growth and preparation for a new and greater season. God has called many of you to leave the familiar behind and step into the new, but leaving has been daunting and has required navigating many challenges.
It has felt like you've been going backward instead of moving forward; you put your foot on the pedal and feel like you have been moving in reverse!
And it has made reaching your destination feel all the more overwhelming.
But the Lord says, "Even though you have felt like you were moving backward, you have been heading in the right direction."
Your Heavenly Father has been with you every step of the way, unconcerned by the challenges you have had to navigate. He has been with you, even when the journey felt overwhelming., He has helped you, making what appeared impossible, possible for you.
God has brought you this far and has plans to take you to places far greater than you realize. He has plans for your life full of hope, promise, and possibility.
I hear the Lord say, "Look to the horizon; you will have what you see!"
Many of you are about to start your journey down the 'new road', but before you can move forward, I feel the Lord asking you to stop and allow Him to close the gate to your past, by fully letting go of what lies behind you!
It is only then that you can step boldly into the future He has prepared for you.
What was in your past served its purpose for that season; it was good for then. The people, places, and experiences were all part of God's plan to shape, grow, and prepare you. However, where God is taking you now requires something different. You cannot move forward while holding on to the old.
Closing the gate isn't about forgetting or dismissing the past; it's about recognizing that it no longer fits where God is leading you. It's an act of faith, the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new one. God is intentional in this process. Just as a shepherd closes the gate behind his sheep to protect them from what lies behind, He wants you to step into your future without the unnecessary burdens, distractions, or limitations that will come by holding onto the old.
The road ahead is filled with promise, but it will require you to trust Him, release the old, and move forward with God's plan.

I declare over you today you will prosper as you leave the old and step into all the new the Lord has for you. God is with you, and His supernatural power is at work in your life; as you follow His leading, you are headed in the right direction, and it will be blessed in Jesus' name.
